Patrick J. Froncillo

Patrick “Pat” J. Froncillo, 80, of 14264 S. Moisertown Road, Meadville, passed away October 31, 2018 at his residence. Pat was born in Meadville, on December 18, 1937, a son of the late Frank and Elena (Oliverio) Froncillo. He was a member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church in Meadville. Pat was a veteran of the US Navy, serving his country honorably from 1956 thru 1960 as a fighter jet mechanic and a helicopter rescue crewman. During this time Pat served on seven different aircraft carriers and had two rescues to his credit. Over the years Pat had been employed as a Production Manager for Cryogenic Corp., as a sales representative for Jacquins Liquor Sales for four and a half years, as a Structural Iron worker for 12 years and he worked in sales for Weber Harris Ford. A life member of the Italian Civic Club (ICC), Pat had also served as President and Manager. Pat is survived by a daughter, Phyllis, (Rodney) Wester, of North Port, FLA, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents Pat is preceded in death by three sisters Rose Colla, Theresa Orlando, and Philomena “Phil” Froncillo, and three brothers John, Joseph and Paul “Sam” Froncillo. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, November 4, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Hatheway Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 614 Baldwin St., Meadville. A Scripture Service will be held at 7 P.M with Deacon Kenneth Reisenweber. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on November 5, 2018 at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Father Andrew Boyd officiating.
