Paul L. Brown

Paul L. Brown, age 87, of Linesville, PA passed away on April 4, 2020 at Crawford County Care Center.  He was born in Meadville, PA on December 24, 1932 to the late Ora Lee and Elsie Mae (Dine) Brown.  He married Patsy Ann Dykes on March 4, 1953.  She preceded him in death on December 3, 2013.

Paul graduated from Meadville High School. He served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. He was employed by the Erie Railroad, Erie Lakawana Railroad and ConRail.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Linesville, PA.

Paul was a member of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing.  He enjoyed fishing, using the computer, tinkering and visiting flea markets.

Paul is survived by four daughters, Charlene States and her husband, Virgil of Linesville, PA, Jodi Brown and her husband, Jim Spots of Meadville, PA, Deborah Grant and her husband, Ronald of Meadville, PA and Darlene Brown of Linesville, PA; ten grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son, Greg Brown; and two brothers, Robert Lee and Charles Lyle Brown.

A Celebration of Life is being held on August 1, 2020 at Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club, 3642 W. Erie St. Ext., Linesville, PA 16424.
