Paul V. Pressey, age 91, of Forest Hills, Meadville, PA, passed away on Saturday October 4, 2025 at Wesbury. He was born on October 31, 1933, in Linesville, PA.
Paul graduated from Cambridge Springs High School in 1951. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Paul worked for Ray Spalding Industries for many years and then for PPG Industries where he retired. After retiring, he went on to become the PPG Pace Car Operations Manager where he was able to continue his lifelong love of auto racing. Paul was an avid hunter in his younger days, was a member of the NRA and Saegertown Sportsman’s Club Trap Team. He and his wife, Carol, were also members of the Classic Iron Car Club where they proudly displayed their 1968 Shelby GT 500.
Paul was preceded in death as an infant by his parents, Kenneth G. and Sara H. Pressey, and his wife of 68 years, Carol on July 11, 2025.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Bickett of Bardstown, KY., his grandson Kenneth Heflin also of Bardstown, KY, his brother-in-law Daniel Kaufman, Saegertown, his niece Kimberly Boozell of Newark, OH and nephew Phillip Kaufman, Cochranton.
At his request, there will be no public services. Paul and Carol will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Saegertown Sportsman’s Club, 19458 Bockman Hollow Road, Saegertown, PA 16433.
