Paul E. Proctor Sr

Paul E. Proctor Sr., age 77 of Meadville, Pa died Monday, May 27, 2013 at the Meadville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Titusville, PA, on January 26, 1936, the son of the late Manley Proctor Sr and Louisa Lupole Proctor. He married Myrtle Cottrell on Feb. 8, 1958. She preceded him in death on Sept. 11, 2010. He retired from the foundry at Abex. He was a member of the Army National Guard, as a Senior Sharpshooter. He was a former member of the Meadville Eagles Club. He enjoyed camping, Fishing, Hunting and driving along the back roads. He loved spending time with his family. He is survived by two sons, Paul Proctor Jr. and his companion, Barb Bailey of Meadville, PA, and Clinton Proctor and his wife, Marie of Meadville, PA, two daughters, Elizabeth Proctor of Meadville, PA and Karen Proctor and her companion, Greg Pontious of Cambridge Springs, PA, three grandchildren, Clinton Proctor Jr. Amanda Pontious and Aaron Hays, his twin sister; Pauline Paden and her husband, Bud of Franklin, PA and two sisters,Donna Gordon of Franklin, PA, and Adeline Aulenbacher of Florida; two brothers, Chester of Colorado and Billy of Texas. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, and his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Irene, and five brothers, Manley, Ronald, Raymond, Leroy and Kenneth. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
