Paul G. Tumpa, 79, of Espyville, passed away peacefully at home on July 24, 2023. Formerly of Pittsburgh, he was born on February 28, 1944 to the late Joseph C. Sr, and Julia (Visnansky) Tumpa.
Paul was a retired driver for United Parcel Service where he worked for 30 years and where he was a proud and active member of Teamsters Local 249. Paul was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Pittsburgh Steelers, but truly of all sports. Along with more time to root on his favorite teams, his retirement allowed for time to become a member of the Pymatuning Sportsman Club and other community groups, to enjoy fishing, to winter in Florida, and to make many friends along the way.
He is survived by his children Steven (Lauri) Tumpa and Valerie (John) Newell; 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Benjamin Newell; brother David (Mandy) Tumpa and sister Susan (Paul) Fuchs; many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime beloved companion Kathleen Powell, brother Joseph C. Tumpa, Jr., sister-in-law Carol (Banyas) Tumpa, and niece Karen Tumpa.
Following Paul’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
