Philip E Hegner

Philip Edward Hegner, 85, of Saegertown, PA passed away September 12, 2018 at the Crawford County Care Center.  He was born in Union City, PA on June 6, 1933 to Glenn and Dorothy (Brooks) Hegner. Philip attended the Union City Schools.  He served in the Army, the Air Force and then worked for the railroad. He grew up with an interest in animals and farming that lead to a great fascination with tractors and machinery.  Philip was of the Christian faith. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca M. (Daryn) Maynard of Meadville, PA; a son, Gus E. Hegner of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Camdyn, Coehyn and Camylla Maynard; three sisters, Ruth Jordan, Joyce Goodby and Merriann Perrine all of Arizona; and two brothers, Richard (Mary) Hegner of Arizona and Howard (Karen) Hegner of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lucille Brumbaugh. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Beginnings Church of God, Meadville, PA.
