Phillip M. Christie Sr.

Phillip M. Christie Sr., age 76, of Jamestown, PA passed away on Tuesday September 29, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born December 25, 1938 in Freeport, PA the son of the late William Albert Christie and Goldie May Uptagraph Christie. He married Dorothy Louise Jentgens. She survives. He was a graduate of Freeport High School in Freeport, PA. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, and had been employed in Security with the National Security Agency (NSA). Phillip was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time fishing with his wife and friends. Phillip is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Christie of Jamestown, a daughter: Teresa Ann Haas of Meadville, three sons: Timothy All Christie and his wife BillieSue of Hartstown, Phillip Manuel Christie Jr. and his wife Judy of Jamestown, and Ronald Joseph Christie of Dallas, Texas, 16 grandchildren: Timothy A. Christie Jr., Blair K. Christie, Michael B. Christie, Sara D. Christie, Amanda R. Beckwith, Jason A. Haas, Jerrod P. Henry, William A. Haas, Angela M. Haas, Ashley N. Diehl, Phillip M. Christie III, Bambi Dawn Christie, Andrea L. Christie, Ronald J. Christie Jr., Crystal Nicole Christie, and Kimberly Hordern, a step-grandson: Michael A. Beckman, five great-grandchildren: Alexis L. Cox, Jasmine N. Wilson, Jason "OB" Wilson, Colton D. Kelly and Savannah Rodrigues, a sister: Ida Silliman and her husband Bill of Natrona Heights, PA. In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by a son: Richard John Christie, two brothers: Kenneth Christie and William Christie and by three sisters: Hattie Kelly, Mildred Simmons and Violet Faulkner.
