Philo L. Gordon

In 1942, at age 17, he inlisted in the U.S. Navy, and served for 4 years. He volunteered in the "Scouts and Raiders (the NAVY SEALS). Philo was in active duty for 39 months in the European, China, Burma, India Theaters of War. He was in D-Day, the invasion of Normandy. Philo was a life-long member of the VDT (frogmen)Museum at Fort Pierce, Florida; where the frogmen received their basic training.
