Phyllis Amolsch

October 29, 1930 — April 23, 2019

Phyllis Ann (Goetz) Amolsch, age 88, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away peacefully at her home on April 23, 2019.  She was born in Meadville, PA on October 29, 1930 to the late, John Goetz and Irene (Chapel) Goetz.  She married Elvin Amolsch in 1952.  He preceded her in death in 1979.

Phyllis was employed at Berky’s Diner and retired from Molded Fiberglass.

She was of the Christian faith.  She was a part of Team M&M’s for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, the Historical Society, she volunteered at the Conneaut Lake Museum and Meadville Medical Center.  Phyllis was a lifetime member of Station 3 Fire Hall in Conneaut Lake.

Phyllis is survived by a daughter, Sharon Evanovich of Pittsburgh, PA, a son, Mark Amolsch and his wife, Carol of Harmonsburg, PA, a daughter-in-law, Gail Amolsch of Meadville, PA; three grandchildren, Cristal Niwa and her husband, Anthony, Nicole Fish and Colton Amolsch; five great-grandchildren; a niece, Linda Highhouse-Bervinkle and her husband, Bill; a great niece, Fran Highhouse; a special nephew, Thomas Sherbondy; and three beloved cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; seven brothers and sisters; a son, Billy Moore, who passed away as a child; a son, Keith Amolsch and daughter, Susan Amolsch-Howsare.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, April 29, 2019 from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Dickson Funeral Home, 130 N. Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA.  A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Brumagin.  Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10 th Street, Erie, PA 16511.
