Phyllis Palmer

Phyllis J. Palmer, age 86, of Cochranton, PA passed away on August 5, 2022 at The Caring Place in Franklin, PA.  She was born on May 10, 1936 in Meadville, PA to the late Victor and Mildred (Gerard) Rudy.  She married John A. Palmer on March 24, 1956.  He preceded her in death on September 23, 1967.

Phyllis graduated from Randolph High School in 1954.  She worked at Talon Zippers and various food service jobs.

She was a member of the Meadville Moose Lodge 2505 and Station 4.  She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and taking road trips.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Donna Willis of LaCenter, WA and her son, Richard Palmer and his wife, Brenda of Palm Coast, FL; 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and five brothers, Martin Rudy, Paul Rudy both of Cochranton, PA, Kenneth Rudy of Andover, OH, Victor Rudy Jr. of Conneaut Lake, PA and Joe Rudy of Guys Mills, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Gary Lee Palmer and her sister, Louise Lantz.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday August 30, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335 with Pastor Brian Hasenkopf officiating.
