Rae Jean Isaly

Rae Jean Isaly, age 55 of Meadville, passed on April 14, 2014 at the Meadville Rehab and Nursing Home. Rae Jean was born in New Castle, PA on August 22, 1958; the daughter of Raymond Mundis and the late Naomi Mundis . She married John Isaly, who preceded her in death on October 8, 2012. She had worked as a cook, at the Crawford County Jail, and with Active Aging of Crawford County. Her favorite pastime was hanging out at the Deer Head Inn- Meadville. Rae Jean was an avid hunter and fisherwoman; she belonged to the Meadville Hunting and Fishing Club. Her favorite hunts were for bear and deer; she was the first area female to shoot a 350 pound black bear. In addition to her mother, and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Billie Jean Fabian (born March 14, 1977 until November 29, 1982) and a brother, Forrest Mundis. She is survived by her father, Raymond Mundis of Waynesboro, PA, a sister in law, Linda I. Russell of Fairview, PA and her care giver, Angie of Meadville, PA Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
