Randall John Crawford

Randall “Randy” John Crawford, age 66, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 29, 2016, at the Meadville Medical Center.             He was born on December 23, 1949 in Punxsutawney, PA, the son of Barnett and Garnet Barnhart Crawford of Meadville, PA.  He married Gail Marie Pennino on July 3, 1975.  She survives.             Randy graduated from Meadville Senior High School and attended one year at Penn State.  He also completed the LUTC insurance studies.  He had worked at Champion Ford for 25 years. He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and the NRA.  He loved hunting and riding his motorcycle as well as playing pool.  He ran in 32 marathons. His family was his greatest joy especially his grandchildren.             Randy is survived by his wife of 41  years, Gail Marie Pennino Crawford of Meadville, PA, two daughters: Marlo Schleicher and her husband John of Pittsburgh, PA and Heather Eakin of Union City, PA, two sons: Kurt Crawford and his wife Shanan of Palm Harbor, FL and Scott Crawford and his wife Jennifer of Tampa, FL, his parents, Barnett and Garnet Crawford of Meadville, PA , seven grandchildren: Jane, Seth, Riley, Rhianna, Reese, Coco and Lucy, a sister: Janice Crawford Powell of Denton, TX.  He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.             Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday from 1 PM until 4 PM at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA.  All are welcome to attend the Memorial Service at 4 PM with Pastor Rebecca Patterson of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.
