Rebecca (Becky) A. Smith

July 24, 1947 — February 16, 2018

Rebecca (Becky) A. Smith, age 70 of Littles Corners, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.             She was born July 24, 1947 in Meadville, the daughter of the late Clarence K. Dietz and Wanda A. Swavey Dietz.  She married Elmer A. Smith on February 14, 1964, having celebrated 54 years of marriage.  He survives.             She attended Saegertown Schools.   She was a stay at home mom, and attended the Littles Corners United Methodist Church.  Becky enjoyed garage sales, shopping, gator rides, picnics with her family and her beloved dog “Kate”.             In addition to her husband, Elmer A. Smith, she is survived by three daughters: Wanita J. Smith, Saegertown, Sherry E. Smith, Conneautville, and Jackie L. Smith, Meadville, five grandchildren: DruAnn H. (Matthew) Hollabaugh of Georgia, Dylan E. Vatter, Baylee R. Henry, Darren R. Henry, Justin M. Smith all of Meadville.  She adored her two red headed great-grandchildren: Claira E. and Hayden M. Hollabaugh.  She is further survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.             In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Ronald L. Dietz. Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville.  All are invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday at 11 AM at the funeral home with Rev.
