Rebecca Carr

Rebecca “Becky” A. Carr, age 83, of Meadville, PA passed away on Thursday January 8, 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones after a brief illness at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. She was born on February 28, 1942 in Geneva, PA to the late Thomas and Theresa (Linz) McKiernan. She married Ed “Nice” Carr on March 21, 1970. He survives.

Becky graduated from Seton school. She then attended Beautician school in Pittsburgh, PA. She worked as a bank teller at PNC until her retirement.

Becky was a member of St. Agatha Church.

She loved spending time with her family, especially watching her grandchildren play sports.

In addition to her husband of 55 years, Ed, she is survived by her children, Steve Carr and his wife, Michelle of Meadville, PA and Jon Carr and his wife, Melaine of Meadville, PA and Andrea Robisin and her husband, Howie of Townville, PA; her grandchildren, Luke Carr and his fiancé, Casey Rhodes, Matthew Carr and his wife, Megan, Lexie Carr and her fiancé, Drew Hunter, Brady Carr, Maxwell Carr, Miah Carr and Andrew Robisin and her sister, Linda Boyd and her husband, Rick of Phoenix, AZ and cousin, Evelyn Linz of Canada.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Becky will be laid to rest at Radle Cemetery.
