Rhoda Bailey

February 5, 1946 — January 20, 2025

Our dear mother Rhoda Pearl (Riley) Bailey sadly passed away on January 20th, 2025 at the age of 78.

She was born February 5th, 1946. She was married 60 years to her best friend and loving husband, Franklin “Paul” Bailey of Geneva.

Rhoda was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was always there when needed the most; offering her support, wisdom, and love in abundance. Her life was a blessing and her memory a treasure. She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

Rhoda loved mowing her lawn and always had the best lawns in town. She also loved thrift shopping and cooking for her family. She cared daily for her dear daughter, Peggy Sue, whom she fondly called “her angel and sweetheart.” She loved being surrounded by her family and adored all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were all a special light in her life.

She is survived by her four children, Paula (Bill) Bowman, Frank (Sharon) Bailey, Jr.,

She also has several nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

Rhoda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret “Peg” Riley and a nephew, Johnny Piatt.
