Richard Earl Chaney

   Richard Earl Chaney 75 of Conneaut Lake went to his reward on Sunday, November 20th, 2016.  Born December 15,1940 he was the only child of Glenn and Pauline Chaney of Cochranton, PA-long time residents of Conneaut Lake Park.     He was a member of Masonic Lodge # 0408.  He worked as a paint contractor for several  years in the surrounding area.  He was often spoken about as a “tough guy” when he was a younger man.     Survivors include 4 sons, 2 daughters and their partners, also several grandchildren and great grandchildren, also survived by Kristin (affectionately known as Gram) his late life partner of 12 years.     He was proceeded in death early 2004 by his wife of many years Maxine Stainbrook and later his aunts  Hildred, Mildred, and Lois. In lieu of funeral services he will be remembered with a buffet dinner and drinks at Mr. Mike Lakehouse on Rt 618 Conneaut Lake on December 3 from 4-7 PM with all friends and family welcome for a celebration of his life.
