Richard Daniels

Richard G. “Danny” Daniels, age 83, of Guys Mills, PA passed away at home on Thursday May 30, 2024.  He was born the oldest of 5 sisters and 3 brothers to the late Reverend Clarence B. and Dorothy S.( Zischkau) Daniels  on March 22, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA.  He married Marilyn A. Krajzel on January 22, 1974. She preceded him in death on March 10, 2006.

In his younger days, his family owned and operated a farm north of Cambridge Springs from 1972 until they moved back to Pittsburgh in 1957.

Danny was active in the field of law enforcement in Cambridge Springs as well as Crawford County Correctional Facility from 1972-1990, when he retired. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Drakes Mills, PA.

He enjoyed restoring old farm tractors and collecting record albums.

Danny is survived by his son, Richard C. Daniels of Mount Pleasant, PA; 3 grandchildren, Stephanie Brianna and Katie; 1 great granddaughter Avery Mae; his sisters, Evelyn, Meryl Dana, RuthAnn and Barbara; brother, Lennis Johns of VA and his adopted sister, Lois Elaine Borofsky of Toronto.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
