Richard Feltenberger

Richard A. Feltenberger, age 68, of Meadville, PA passed away Friday morning, February 21, 2020 while at work at the Italian Civic Club.

He was born October 6, 1951 in Meadville, PA to the late Alfred Eugene Feltenberger and Harriet L. Joliet (Palka).

Richard attended Meadville Area Schools.  He retired from truck driving and later took a part-time job doing janitorial work at the ICC.

He was of Protestant faith.

He was a member of the Italian Civic Club, the Hunting and Fishing Club, American Legion III, American Legion 205, Vernon Volunteer Fire Department 27 and Vernon Central.   He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, his Miller Lite and his puppy, Rocky.  One thing is for sure, he lived his life his way!

Richard is survived by his sisters, Beverly (Feltenberger) Hubert and her husband, Jeffery and family of Meadville, PA; Jeanne (Feltenberger) Willis-Hess and her husband, Joe and family of Saegertown, PA and Janice (Feltenberger) King and her husband, Scott and family of Greenville, PA; one brother, Dan Custard and family of Meadville, PA; uncles, Francis Feltenberger and family of Florida, and Harold Joliet and family of Michigan; niece Tammy Petruso and her husband, Jim and family of New York; nephew, Jeremy “J.R.” Hubert and his wife, Mandi and family of Saegertown, PA; niece Kerra Feltenberger and family of Pittsburgh, PA; nephew, Kenny Feltenberger and family of Pittsburgh,PA; niece, Tera Feltenberger and family of Meadville, PA; nephew Scott Feltenberger and family of Harrisburg, PA; his step-son Jason Urey and his wife, Marlo and family of Meadville, PA and  many cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Fred E. and Kenneth D. Feltenberger.

He will be sadly missed by his family and friends, but not forgotten!

Family and friends are invited to call at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335 on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 2-4 pm.  A memorial service will be held at 4 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Hasenkopf officiating.
