Richard Hart

Richard (Dick) D. Hart, age 76, of Meadville, PA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 22, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center.  He was born on September 21, 1945 in Meadville, PA to the late Marlin and Larieta (Deshner) Hart.  He married Marlene Ellion on August 3, 1969.  She survives.

Dick graduated from Meadville High School in 1963.  He was an RD carrier for the Meadville Post Office for 42 years.  He attended Watson Run Church of God.

Dick was a member of Station #3.  He enjoyed playing BINGO and was an avid bowler.  He was a retired Area Director for PSBA and was inducted into the Western Crawford County Bowling Hall of Fame in 1991.  He also enjoyed taking road trips to the big woods and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 52 years, Marlene, he is also survived by his two daughters, Marcie Hart-Collins and her husband, Alan of Meadville, PA and Tammy Barnes and her husband, Ronald of Meadville, PA; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Hart and his wife, Darlene of WI; his aunt, Lois Price of Meadville, PA and many nieces and nephews.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister-in-law, George and Marilyn Hart.

As per his request, there will be a private family service at a later date.
