Richard H. Jones

Richard H. Jones, age 81, of Saegertown, PA passed away in Meadville on May 28, 2019.  He was born in Meadville on September 29, 1937 to the late Harold and Agnes (Bossard) Jones.  He married Barb Shick on August 28, 1965.  She survives.

Dick graduated from Cambridge Springs High School.  He then worked at LORD Corporation in Cambridge Springs until his retirement in 1999.  He also served in the United States Army.

He enjoyed hunting, attending the Crawford County Fair and spending time with his family.

Dick is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara; one daughter, Brenda Jones and her significant other, Vicki Stonebraker of Cochranton; one son, Brian Jones and his wife, Wendy of Saegertown; two grandchildren, Nathan Jones and his wife, Chanda of Saegertown and Nevin Jones and his significant other, Katelyn English, of Cambridge Springs; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Kinsley and Chloe Jones; one sister, Shirley “Doll” Jones and her husband, Emmett of Titusville; two brothers, Robert Jones and his wife, Marilyn of Saegertown and Merle “Butch” Jones and his wife, Debbie of Meadville; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his dog, Turbo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
