Richard Rhodes

Richard G. Rhodes, age 81, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday April 24, 2024.  He was born on July 3, 1942 in Meadville, PA to the late Paul “Dusty” and Jean (Leffingwell) Rhodes.  He married Susanne King on July 12, 1963. She preceded him in death on July 22, 2017.

Richard graduated from Conneaut Lake High School.  He worked at various factories over the years including Meadville Malleable and Rusco and before retirement he worked as a delivery driver for Spalding Enterprise.

He enjoyed building miniature buildings from scratch and family get-togethers.

He is survived by his son, Steven Rhodes and his wife, Theresa of Conneautville, PA; his grandchildren, Yvonne O’Day and her fiance, Frank Rogers of Harmonsburg, PA, Sheri Bly of Sharon, PA and Leesa Long of Greenville,PA; 6 great grandchildren; his sister, Sandy Lawrence and her husband, Stanley of Conneaut Lake, PA and his brothers, Robert Rhodes and his wife, Carol and Ray Rhodes both of Conneaut Lake, PA.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susie Rhodes; his brother, Randy Rhodes and his sister-in-law, Diane Rhodes.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 25, 2024 at Pymatuning State Park Shelter #4 in Jamestown, PA at 2:00 p.m.
