Robert Ernest Babin

Robert Ernest Babin, age 71, of Meadville, PA passed away on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born June 12, 1943 in Somerville, Middlesex County, MA; the son of the late Joseph Babin Sr. and Theresa Gross Babin. He married Claire Velma Hayward. She survives. Robert had been employed as a contractor. He served his country as a Veteran of the United States Navy. He spent his time working and enjoyed fishing and collecting baseball cards. He is survived by his wife; Claire Babin of Meadville, PA, four children: Brandon Babin, Melissa Arango, Ernest Babin and Edmund Babin. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two brothers; Joseph P. Babin, and Edmund P. Babin, and a sister; Connie Blomquist. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA 16335
