Robert Beatty

Robert Allen Beatty, 56, of Meadville PA was called home to become one of God's warriors on December 20, 2019. He passed away after a year-long battle with esophageal and thyroid cancer. He fought with great strength and courage with his daughter, Tabitha, by his side.

Rob's passion for EMS will always live on through his co-workers and the friends he made throughout his 34 years as a firefighter, EMT and paramedic and the many patients he has cared for in those years. He was employed as a paramedic for the past seven years by MedEvac Ambulance of New Castle, PA and was a highly respected member of the EMS community.

Rob was a Veteran. He loved his country and was proud of his service in the United States Army, having served from 1980 to 1987 in the Infantry Division, and the National Guard.

Rob loved his family, and nothing brought a bigger smile to his face than his grandchildren, Jadin, Cameron and Rylee. In his spare time, he liked target shooting and watching old westerns and military movies. His dogs, Missy, Jackson, and Taz brought enormous joy to his life.

Rob is survived by his mother, Ruth Dooley (Richard) of Meadville PA; three daughters, Tabitha Beatty(Shawn DeJohn),Amanda Dooley (Dan Arthier) and Samantha Beatty;  his grandchildren, Jadin, Cameron,Rylee and Lillian; Brothers Dan Beatty, Erie PA, Dale Beatty, Rome, NY, and Brian Davison, Mitchells, VA; his Aunt Bev Ridenauer of Geneva, FL, Dolores (Dee)Henry (Donald),  Cambridge Springs, Jean Anthony (Carl), Cochranton, Laura Beatty, Meadville, James Beatty (Martha), Terre Haute, IN, Allen Beatty, (Marilyn), Greenville, PA and many cousins, 5 nephews and 2 nieces.

His family has chosen to respect his wishes of no calling hours or funeral service.
