Robert Jonathan Bennett

Robert J. Bennett Robert Jonathan Bennett, age 63, of Cochranton, entered into rest with Jesus Christ on April 9, 2013. He was born, September 11, 1949, in Miami, Florida, he was the son of Orville and Dorothy (Narramore) Bennett who preceded him in death as well as his brother Richard, all of Florida. A graduate of Gannon University, Bob was employed by Meadville Medical Center, in the X-ray department for 35 years. Bob was an avid surfer, and particularly enjoyed surfing in Mexico. He was a great fitness enthusiast and he also enjoyed gardening and photography. He was especially blessed to have Linda Grose, Ralph Joslin, and Frannie Stone, in his life, who encouraged him in his spiritual growth. He is survived by his spouse Joan Hollands Bennett of Cochranton; a son Stephen H. Bennett of Edinboro, PA, a daughter Carrie Bennett Woge and her husband, Robert Woge of Guys Mills, and four grandchildren: Jonathan Woge, Madelyn Woge, Jacob Woge, and Megan Woge. Also surviving are a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Glenn Grose of Kennerdell, PA. Family and friends will be received at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street Meadville, PA on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 5 to 7 PM, with the Memorial Service held at 7 PM at the funeral home..
