Robert "Bob" Henry

Robert “Bob” Henry Sr., age 76, of Saegertown, PA passed away after a long illness on Monday June 6, 2022.  He was born on January 26, 1946 in Meadville, PA to the late Glenn and Lena (DuPont) Henry.  He married Christine Crowe on October 7, 1984.  She preceded him in death on June 8, 2006.

Bob was the co-owner of “Beegees Carpeting” carpet business and the owner of “Bob’s Garage” in Littles Corners.  Most recently, he retired from Meadville Medical Center as a Maintenance Supervisor.  He loved being outdoors.  He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, working on cars and riding his golf cart around his properties. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Henry Lilly of Meadville, PA and her significant other, Frank V. Altadonna of Erie, PA and his son, Robert Henry Jr. of Saegertown, PA; four grandchildren, Christy  Lilly and her significant other, Brian Elble of Mt. Washington, KY, Courtney Lilly and her fiancé, Joseph DeWoody of Saegertown, PA, Baylee Karschner and her husband, Tyler of Saegertown, PA and Darren Henry of Saegertown, PA and one great granddaughter, Ryder; his significant other, Jean Schwab and his former spouse, Rose M. Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his brothers, Tom and Ron Henry and his sister, Sharon Henry.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday June 9, 2022 at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335 from 12-2 pm and 4-6 pm.  A funeral service will take place at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Hasenkopf officiating.

Bob will be laid to rest at Venango Cemetery.
