Robert Marroulis

Robert O. “R.O.” Marroulis, age 95, formerly of Saegertown, PA passed away peacefully on Friday April 17, 2026 at Embassy of Park Avenue in Meadville, PA. He was born on January 27, 1931 in Canfield, OH to the late Theodore P. and Daisy (Swager) Marroulis. He married Lorraine K. Breth on December 29, 2000. She preceded him in death on November 30, 2020.

R.O. worked as a machine operator on the railroad from 1949-1983. He then worked security with Capital Protection at Channellock from 1991-2000.

He was a member of both the Meadville and Saegertown American Legions. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and he LOVED going to garage sales and auctions. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his children, Theodore Marroulis (Carolyn) of Salem, OH, Robert Marroulis (Rita) of Salem, OH, Billy-Jo Marroulis of Stratton, OH, Cindy Leider (Mark) of Salem, OH; his step children, Jane Tatters (Robert) of Guys Mills, PA, Theresa Hollis of Saegertown, PA and Kerri Jackson (Joe) of Spartansburg, PA and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his former spouses, Betty Reed and Wanda Marroulis; his stepson, Robert Phillips and his brothers and sisters, Violetta Revis, Nila Lambert, Betty Borrelli, Lewis Marroulis.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday April 23, 2026 from 4-6 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335. Funeral service will take place at 6 pm.
