Robert Mattocks

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert “Bob/Blue” Mattocks announce his passing on February 2nd, 2023. He was 68, born 1954 in Meadville, PA.

He was a simple man and greatly enjoyed the outdoors throughout his life. In the fall and winter he could be found in the woods hunting. In the summer he was always on his motorcycle or on the water fishing trying to catch a Musky bigger than his 52” mounted on the wall. He was never without his dog Jill, that he adored. Many people were drawn to him and enjoyed his amazing storytelling. With his tough exterior, he had a heart of gold.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Margaret Mattocks, also a Brother-in-law Alton Norris, Jr.

He is survived by his 3 sisters that he loved and protected, Brenda (Charlie) McCain, Debbie Norris, and Patricia (Jim) Heighes. As well as his nieces and nephews Rick (Rebecca) McCain, Vanessa (Travis) Titus, Lucus McCain and companion Renea Sterling, Brad (Heather) Schmader, Jody Schmader, Heather Schmader and companion Ronnie Feroz, Joel (Renee) Norris, Jason (Stefanie) Norris, Jarrod (Ayrien) Norris and all of their families.

There will be a celebration of life for a man that truly lived an amazing life. Friday February 10, 2023 2pm-4pm at the Titusville Moose Club, all are welcome to join and share.
