Robert Rerko

Robert J. Rerko, age 74, of Saegertown, PA passed away on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at home.  He was born on November 10, 1947 in Meadville, PA to the late Stephen and Helen (Salata) Rerko.  He married Gail Penoyer on May 30, 1969.  She survives.

Robert graduated from Meadville High School.  He worked for the Game Commission for 35 years.  He was a member of Saegertown Sportsman’s Club, the NRA and the National Trapping Association.  He enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing and gardening.

In addition to his wife of 52 years, Gail, he is survived by two sons, Scott Rerko and his wife, Debra of Saegertown, PA and Keith Rerko of Saegertown, PA and his daughter-in-law, Johna Skolnekovich of Jackson Center, PA; 6 grandchildren, Kami Hart and her husband, Colin of TX, Nathan Biay of TX, Justina May and her husband, Alan of Guys Mills, PA, Dylan Rerko and his wife, Danyal of Meadville, PA, Lindsey Rerko and her husband, Dylan of Meadville, PA and Angelina Rerko of Jackson Center, PA; 8 great grandchildren and 1 brother, Jim Rerko and his wife, Mary of AK.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
