Robert Stewart

Robert G. Stewart, age 81 of Cochranton, passed on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Western Reserve Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Erie, PA.  He was born on January 31,1937 in Meadville, the son of Marvin and Marion (Chipman) Stewart. Robert married Delores E. Ramey on September 24, 1960; she preceded him in death on August 7, 2006. He was a graduate of Meadville High School, and had worked at Andover Industries and Avtex Fibers.     Robert served in the U.S Marine Corps. Survivors include: a daughter Tracy L. Tidd  and her husband Brian of Cambridge Springs; 2 sons Robert P. Stewart and his wife Norma Young of Erie, and Richard G. Stewart of Cochranton.   Also surviving are 6 grandchildren: Robert P. Stewart Jr., Daniel Stewart, Joseph Stewart, Thomas Stewart, Brandon Tidd and Emily Tidd; and 6 great grandchildren: Colby Stewart, Chase Stewart, Colton Stewart, Jacob Stewart, Gracie Stewart and  Oliver Stewart.  Robert is also survived by a sister Betty Templin of Florida and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents and spouse were 2 grandsons Robert Stewart and Dylan Tidd; 2 brothers: Charles Olosky and John Olosky, and a sister Helen (Stewart) Cree. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 10AM until Noon at the funeral home.  A funeral service will follow, beginning at noon.  A private burial will be at Venango Cemetery.
