Robert L. Watkins Ii

Robert “Bob” L. Watkins II, age 62, of Sheakleyville, PA passed away at his residence on September 1, 2022.  He was born on July 1, 1960 in Meadville, PA to the late Gloria L. (Adams) and Robert L. Watkins I.

Bob graduated from Meadville High School in 1980.  He proudly served in the United States National Guard for 6 years.  He worked many years in the automotive industry in Michigan and then worked in various positions at Wal-Mart.  He was currently employed in the automotive department at Greenville Wal-Mart.

Bob was a member of the “Black and Gold Club.”  He was an avid Steelers fan.  Bob loved AC/DC.  He was very skilled at wood working.  He enjoyed family get-togethers.  Everyone loved him.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Amy Marie Watkins of Titusville, PA; his sons, Robert Watkins III of Titusville, PA, Chase Watkins and Dillon Watkins, both of Cochranton, PA; 6 grandchildren; three sisters, Deborah Watkins of Meadville, PA, Becky Sheridan and her husband, Patrick of Saegertown, PA and Wanda “Susie” Sharpe of Saegertown, PA; his brother, Ronald Watkins and his wife, Robin of Townville, PA and his girlfriend, Billie Jo Rhoades.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Donna Kawinski.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday September 6, 2022 at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335 from 3:00- 7:00 pm.  A funeral service will take place at 7:00 pm at the funeral home with full military honors provided by VFW Post 2006.  A dinner will be held immediately following the service at West Mead #2 Volunteer Fire Department, Ryan Rd., Meadville, PA.
