Rodney Horner, Jr.

Rodney Lynn Horner, Jr., age 42, of Harmonsburg, PA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 3, 2021.  He was born on January 18, 1979 to Anna Elizabeth (Quear) and Rodney Lynn Horner, Sr.

Rodney enjoyed fishing, drawing and tinkering with anything that had an engine.  What he enjoyed most was cooking and food.  He especially loved his family and close friends.  He was a gentle giant and gave the best bear hugs.   He also loved watching the Steeler’s play.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Cameron James Kramer “Hey Cam! Buck fifty, Slim Jim!”; four sisters, Kathryn Horner of Meadville, PA, Dolores Tatters and her husband, Scott Sr. of Harmonsburg, PA, Jennifer Merriman and her husband, Daniel of Meadville, PA and Nicole Floyd and her husband, Jim of New Castle, PA; paternal grandmother, Helen Patterson of Meadville, PA; several nieces and two nephews, many great nieces and nephews along with many aunts and uncles.

Rodney was preceded in death by a son, Skylar Michael Horner; a niece, Autumn Renee Horner, maternal grandparents, Dolores and Kenneth Quear, Sr; paternal grandfather, Clarence Horner, uncle Kenneth Quear, Jr and aunt Alesia Kurtz.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
