Roger Conard

Roger L. Conard, age 68, of Saegertown, PA passed away at his home surrounded by family on his birthday, Monday March 31, 2025.  He was born March 31, 1957 in Washington, PA to the late Charles and Louise (Rossell) Conard. He married Theresa Fox on May 16, 1987. She survives.

Roger worked as a horse trainer and driver at the Meadows Racetrack in Washington, PA for 25 years. He then worked at Zinchaks and then Dach Dime Manufacturing.

Roger was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mowing his lawn, gardening, taking walks in nature and watching deer and birds. He also enjoyed bonfires and spending time with his family. He was always willing to help others.

In addition to his wife of 37 years, he is survived by his children, Michael Conard (Jennifer) of Meadville, PA and Stephanie Conard (Stuart) of Saegertown, PA; three grandchildren, Maddison and Raelynn Schultz and Lillian Conard; two sisters, Melanie Baltich(Dave) of Eighty Four, PA  and Michelle Subrick(Chad) of Bentleyville, PA  and one brother, Richard Conard (Charlie) of Washington, PA and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Samuel and Charles Conard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
