Roland James Aylsworth, age 78, of Cochranton, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born September 6, 1937 in Meadville, PA the son of the late Roland Aylsworth and Mabel Groshner Aylsworth. He married Twila Jean Tingley on November 22, 1958. She survives. He had served in the United States Air Force. He had been employed as a traffic manager at Seco-Warick in Meadville, PA and had sold automobiles at Weber Harris Ford in Meadville, PA. He also had been a truck driver for Hafer Trucking Company. Roland enjoyed spending time golfing, camping and playing cards. Roland is survived by his wife of 56 years, Twila Jean Aylsworth of Cochranton, PA, a daughter: Debbie Sprenkle and her husband Gordon of Guys Mills, PA, two sons: Robert Aylsworth and his wife Maxine of Meadville, PA and Randy Aylsworth and Gino DeChellis of Boardman, Ohio, eight grandchildren: Crystal Barnett, Daniel Sprenkle, Tabetha Johnson, Levi Aylsworth, Micah O'Neal, Luke Aylsworth, Aaron Aylsworth, Zachary Aylsworth, 10 great-grandchildren, a sister Sandy Clancy of Meadville, PA, two brothers: William Aylsworth and his wife Lynetta of Saegertown, PA and Warren Aylsworth and his wife Chris of Meadville, PA, a sister-in-law, Sandy Aylsworth of Georgia. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a grandson: Israel Aylsworth and two great-granddaughters: Gianna Johnson and Arianna Johnson, and by a brother: Robert Lee Aylsworth and a brother-in-law: Joseph Clancy. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA All are invited to the funeral service at 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
