Ron D. Lord Sr.

Ron D. Lord Sr., age 76, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023. He was born December 27, 1946 in Glen Ridge, NJ. the son of the late Dwight and Ethel Hancock Lord. Ron married Mary Louise Peters on July 26,1969. She survives.

Ron was a 1965 graduate of James Caldwell High School in West Caldwell, NJ.  He then graduated from Repparts School of Auctioneering in Illinois.  Ron worked as an auctioneer and enjoyed working with many auctioneers.

In Ron’s pastimes, he enjoyed antiques, gambling, playing cards, refinishing furniture, collecting Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars.  He also restored a 1950 Chevy 3100 truck.

Ron is survived by his wife Mary Lou; 2 sons, Ron Lord Jr and his wife Jennifer of Saegertown, PA; Jeff Lord and his wife Rachel of Conneaut Lake, PA.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents  and a sister, Barbara N. Richelo.

Per the family’s wishes, there will be no services.  A  Celebration of Life will be held  at a later date.
