Rose Marie Brocklehurst

Rose Marie (Longiotti) Brocklehurst, age 77, of Meadville, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Meadville Medical Center, Emergency Room. Rose was born December 22, 1937 in Hartstown, PA the daughter of the late Alessandro (Alex) Longiotti and Maria D. Sbrocchi Longiotti. Rose had worked as a security guard at Talon Inc. and then in housekeeping, in the Surgery Department at Meadville Medical Center. She had attended First Assembly of God Church in Meadville, PA. She loved to watch TV game shows, especially the Wheel of Fortune and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Rose is survived by her daughter: Pamela Brocklehurst of Meadville, PA, her son: Jeffrey Brocklehurst of Meadville, PA, seven grandchildren: Tony Brocklehurst, Sam Brocklehurst, Tinecia Jenkins, Christopher Powell, Jennifer Harrison, Robin Chapman and Jody Alysworth, twelve great-grandchildren: Areanna Jenkins, Ashanti Jenkins, Devon Jenkins, Shawnacy Powell, Christopher Powell, Autumn Powell, Ronan Brocklehurst, Thomas Brocklehurst, Jetta Harrison, Cheyenne Purnell, Darryll Purnell and Michael Kepner, a great-great-granddaughter: Imani Rose Elvine, a brother: Pete Longiotti and his wife Carmel of Greenville, PA, two sisters: Theresa Longiotti of Myrtle Beach, SC and Natalie Knopp and her husband Fred of Aurora, OH, a brother-in-law: Wendall Brown of Evansville, MN, three sister-in-laws: Peggy Longiotti of Greenville, PA, Irene Brocklehurst, and Martha Brocklehurst and sister-in-law: Carla Poirier and husband Al. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded n death by a daughter Rebecca Powell, two brothers: Frank and John and four sisters: Flo, Mary, Ruth and Josephine. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Philip Torre, Pastor of First Assembly of God Church, officiating, at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA 16335. Burial will be in the South Shenango Cemetery.
