Russell J. Smith

Russell James Smith, age 59, of Guys Mills, PA passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 as a result of injuries from an automobile accident. He was born September 13, 1956 in Elyria, Ohio the son of the late David R. Smith and Dorothy M. Logue Smith.  He married Kathy Lynn Tenney on December 29, 1988. She survives. He had been employed as a Press Operator at Micro Plastics. He loved fishing and watching old western movies on television.  He also enjoyed time going to flea markets. Surviving is his wife of 27 years, Kathy L. Smith of Guys Mills, a daughter: Karly Smith at home, a sister: Mary Stevenson of Meadville, PA, three brothers: Randy Smith of St. Louis, Missouri, Steve Smith of Oberlin, Ohio and Tom Smith of Butler, PA.  He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by a sister: Julie Ford and two brothers: William Smith and Edward Smith. There will be no calling hours or funeral service as per Russell’s request.
