Ruth Easter Cordes

Ruth Easter Norr Cordes, age 67, of Piedmont, South Carolina and formerly of Meadville, PA, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Crawford County Care Center.             Ruth was born March 31, 1948 in Meadville, PA the daughter of the late James Norr and Martha Stover Norr. She married Donald Scott Cordes on July 29, 1975. He preceded her in death in 1983.             She graduated from Meadville High School. She had been employed at the Nutra Manufacturing in Greenville, South Carolina. She attended the Pymatuning Community Church. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts.             Ruth is survived by her son: Scott B. Cordes and his wife, Rebecca of Piedmont, South Carolina, three sisters: Barbara Weatherby and her husband Daniel of Meadville, PA, Delores Jean Norr of Meadville, PA, and Donna Fleeger and her husband James of Lancaster, PA, three brothers: James A. Norr Jr. of Irwin, PA, Richard Norr and his wife Rachel of Cochranton, PA, and Marvin Norr and his wife Karla of Hartstown, PA. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.             In addition to her parents and her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by two brothers; Clair Norr of Irwin, PA and David M. Norr of Tionesta, PA and a sister: Susan Rebecca Norr Chesire of Cross Junction, VA.             Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 PM until time of the funeral service at 6 PM at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA. The Rev.
