Ruth May Jackson

              Ruth May Jackson, age 90 of Linesville, PA passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Rolling Fields Nursing Home.             She was born on January 20, 1927 in Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County. The daughter of the late Woodrow Ankney and Eleanor Ziders Ankney. Ruth married John R. Jackson on June 5, 1946. He survives.             Ruth graduated from Ligonier High School. She was a homemaker. Ruth attended First Baptist Church in Linesville, PA. She enjoyed going to the Senior Center in Linesville, and participating in various card clubs.             Ruth is survived by her husband of 70 years John R. Jackosn, three daughters: Judith Yolanty and her husband Al of Calcutta, OH, Carol Ann Alden of Commerce, Texas, Ruth May Jackson of Cooper, Texas, a son: John Richard Jackson of Brookfield, Ohio, and five grandchildren.             In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.                   A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Linesville, PA.             Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church, 6114 US Highway 6, Linesville, PA 16424.             Please sign Ruth’s online guestbook at hatheway-tedesco .com             Arrangements are entrusted under the care of Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street Meadville, Pa 16335.
