Ruth Lybarger

Ruth Ann Lybarger, age 77, of Meadville, PA passed away after a brief illness on March 15, 2023 at Meadville Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.  She was born on January 9, 1946 in Meadville, PA to the late Irvin and Mabel (Keas) Lybarger.

Ruth graduated from Saegertown High School.  She worked at Franklin Steel until her retirement.  She was a very hard and dedicated worker.  She also worked on her neighbor Mike Novak's farm.  She attended the Littles Corners United Methodist Church.

Ruth was a great neighbor and friend and a protector of stray animals.  She treated her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews as her own.

She is survived by her sister, Virginia Davis and her husband, Ethan of Meadville, PA; her nieces and nephews, Steven Higby of WI and Rob Higby and his wife, Kay, JoAnne Brenot and Lanni Higby all of Meadville and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, BJ Brenot.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Littles Corners United Methodist Church, 15400 PA 198, Meadville, PA 16335 on Saturday April 29, 2023 at 2pm.

Ruth will be laid to rest with her parents at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
