Ruth Woodcock

Ruth Woodcock, 58, of Meadville, PA passed away on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on September 11, 1964 to the late Harold and Jeanittie (Starcher) Huckleberry.  She married Larry Woodcock on July 29, 1983.  He survives.

Ruth graduated from Saegertown High School in 1984.  She was employed by Penncrest School District for 15 years as a custodian.  She attended Christ E. Free Church.  She enjoyed camping, bonfires, yard sales and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

In addition to her loving husband of 39 years, Larry, Ruth is survived by her daughter, Rosie Woodcock and her significant other, Richard Earls of Meadville, PA and her son, Jason Woodcock of Meadville, PA; her five grandchildren, Landon, Heaven, Memory, Dora and Claira; her sister, Beverly Betts of Cambridge Springs, PA and her nieces and nephews, Terry, Jenny and Wyatt Huckleberry and Harold Betts along with several others.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Sammy and John Huckleberry.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday June 17, 2023 at Christ E. Free Church, 19682 Hill Rd., Saegertown, PA 16433 from 10:00 am to the time of the service at 12:00 noon and will be officiated by Pastor Jeff Wilson.  Ruth will be laid to rest at Kingsley Cemetery, Townville, PA.
