Ruth Irene Yeager

Ruth Irene Yeager, age 70, of Meadville passed on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the Meadville Medical Center, with her family at her side.            Ruth was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, on May, 8 1945, a daughter of Irene Ruth Burdick Godwin. She was formerly married to Fredrick L. Yeager Sr. She graduated from high school in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Baptist Faith.   Ruth loved playing with her grandchildren, reading, decorating, solving crossword puzzles, and gardening. She dearly missed her cat “Baby Girl”. Ruth is survived by: a daughter- Brandy Lee Yeager (Corey Corretti) of Townville, a son- Fredrick Yeager Jr. (Catherine) of Meadville; two grandchildren, Corey Curtis Corretti and Chase Eli Corretti, also one brother Edward William Burdick (Janet) of Meadville. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She is further survived by Leonard Kelley of Meadville (a long time friend and father of Brandy Lee; very close nephews Thomas Burdick and William Burdick, and a great nephew Wyatt Sample. She was loved by many friends.             Ruth was preceded in death by her Mother. The final arrangements for Ruth Irene Yeager, are private, and have been entrusted to the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA Interment will be in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville, PA.
