Sandra Rappa

Sandra L. Rappa, age 82, of Meadville, PA passed away on Friday December 16, 2022 at Edinboro Manor.  She was born on May 12, 1941 in Meadville, PA to the late Sanna Monteleone.  She married Thomas Rappa on April 27, 1962.  He survives.

Sandy worked tirelessly to lead her life with empathy and didn’t tolerate cruelty where she perceived it.  She was an advocate for people with disabilities.  In her spare time she could be found spoiling her two Chihuahuas or watching a Hallmark Channel movie marathon or an old Hollywood movie on Turner Classics.  But her favorite thing to do was to dote on her grandson.

In addition to her husband Tom, she is survived by her two sons, Thomas J. Rappa of Cleveland, OH and Christopher A. Rappa of Cross Junction, VA; her grandson, Myles Rappa; her sister, Terry Sullivan of Erie, PA and her brother, Nick Salvia and his wife, Barb of Pittsburgh, PA.

There will be no services at this time.  The family is planning a memorial gathering to be held in the future.
