Shelly Lynn Beish

Shelly Lynn Beish, age 54, of Erie and formerly of Meadville, PA passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at her residence.  She was born March 9, 1963 in Meadville, PA the daughter of Kenneth Melvin Chess and Gloria Jean Harry. She graduated from Meadville High School. Most recently she had been employed by All Season Mold Injection in Erie.  She previously worked for DIC Tool in Meadville and at Allegheny College in the housekeeping department. Shelly loved the time she spent with her grandchildren, camping, fishing hunting and attending cook outs.   She also enjoyed spending time with her friends. Shelly is survived by her friend and companion, Mark Wisniewski of Erie, PA,  her father: Kenneth Melvin Chess and his wife Dianne of Meadville, PA, her mother: Gloria Jean Chess of Meadville, PA, her daughter: Brittany Castile of Meadville, her son: Matthew Beish of Meadville, seven grandchildren, three brothers: Randy M. Chess of Meadville, Kelvin R. Chess and his wife Tracy of Meadville, and Terry R. Chess and his wife Dianna of Saegertown, PA, her best friend for life: Marie (Gidget) Copeland of Conneaut Lake, PA.  She is further survived by nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. Shelly was preceded in death by a daughter: Shanna Lynn Beish, a brother: Edward Chess, and her paternal and maternal grandparents. Family and friends are welcome to call on Sunday from 2 pm until time of her memorial service at 4 PM with Pastor Rod Johnson, officiating.
