Shelly Swavey

Shelly Marie (Watt) Swavey, age 43, of Meadville, PA passed away on Tuesday November 28, 2023.  She was born on January 12, 1980 in Meadville, PA to Donald L. and Linda M. (Harvey) Watt.

Shelly graduated from Meadville Area Senior High School and Crawford County Vo-Tech Child Care Program in 1999.  She attended First Christian Church when she was younger and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She was very active in fundraisers and activities for the MS Foundation.

In addition to her parents, Shelly is survived by her daughter, Megan Swavey of Jamestown, PA; one sister, Melissa S. Spencer and her husband, Jason of Meadville, PA; her former spouse, Richard Swavey of Townville, PA; her maternal grandmother, Jean Harvey of Jamestown, PA and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shelly was preceded in death by her daughter, Samantha Swavey; her maternal grandfather, Stephen Harvey; her paternal grandparents, Anna and Clarence Watt and her uncles, Gregory Harvey and Gary Harvey.

Services will be private.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
