Shirley L. Morrison, 85, formerly of Conneaut Lake, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at White Cliff Health and Rehabilitation Center, Greenville. She was born in Conneaut Lake on April 26, 1927, a daughter of Robert Hane and Elva Cole Mullen. She was a registered nurse and a homemaker. Shirley was of the Christian faith, liked to camp and fish, be outdoors, and spend time with her family. She is survived by a son Willard Timothy Moreland and his wife Jolene of Crosby, TN; a daughter April Shartle and her husband Harold of Conneaut Lake; a step-son Merle Morrison and his wife Delores of Hadley; two step-daughters Frances Ryan of Mercer and Carol Jean McCullough and her husband David of Clarks Mills; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters Emojean Gilson, Hellen Mullen, Thelma Bennett; two brothers Robert Hane and Millard Blue; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three husbands, John Moreland, Cecil Foy, and Earl Morrison; two infant children Johnathan and Samantha; two daughters Gail Thrushka and Mandy Sturgill; two sons John Moreland and James Moreland. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5pm to 7pm at Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Second Street, Conneaut Lake, with the funeral service to follow at 7pm officiated by Pastor David Brumagin of Trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake.
