Shirley Ann Rawlings

Shirley Ann Rawlings, age 78, of Meadville (and formerly of Titusville), passed Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown. She was born July 19, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Robert Henry Rawlings, October 31, 1959; Robert passed October 8, 1983. Shirley was a housewife until moving to Meadville, when she went to work at Gotto's Pizza. Shirley was of the Catholic faith. She loved playing Bingo, Scooby Doo, knitting, making bracelets, Elvis, and playing cards. Survivors include: 3 daughters: Diana (Kyle) Bixler of Clearfield, PA; Shirley Ann (David) Walker of Meadville; Cindy (Eric) Kinter of Meadville. Also surviving are 2 sons: Robert (Jean) Polk of Holland, Michigan; and Creed (Rachel) Rawlings of Ridgeway, PA. Sixteen grandchildren also survive Mrs. Rawlings. Shirley is also survived by a sister: Irene Cierenberg of St. Louis, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by a grandson-Robert Polk Jr., 5 sisters and 5 brothers. Shirley's family will receive friends, on Friday February 20, 2015, from 6PM until 8 PM at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA 16335; a funeral service will take place at 8 PM, in the funeral home.
