Stephen D. Peterson

Steve D. Peterson, age 58, of Meadville passed away June 30, 2019 at UPMC Shadyside with family by his side.  He was born January 3, 1961 in Meadville to the late Donald and Norma (Routh) Peterson.  He married Sherry Urey Peterson and they have been together for 31 years.  She survives.

He was employed by Meadville Plating for 15 years.  He enjoyed motorcycle riding, wood working, being outdoors and doing yard work.  He was known for his kindness and generosity to others.

Steve is survived by his wife; two sons, Justin Peterson (Danielle) and Christopher Davis (Lindsey); 3 grandchildren; four sisters, Donna (Terry), Debbie (Chico), Cheryl (Larry), and Marion Peterson and one brother, Pete (Nancy) Peterson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Joey Peterson and a brother, Jeff Peterson.

There will be no services.
