Stephen Edward Weber, age 57, of Meadville passed away unexpectedly at home on July 3, 2019. He was born in Meadville, a son of Kenneth and Martha (Heckman) Weber on August 29, 1961.
He was a 1979 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School. After high school, he worked locally before moving to Seattle, Washington in the early 1980’s. While living there, he worked several places including on an Alaskan fishing trawler from 1987-1989; as a Medical Detox Assistant for six years, and eventually worked for his high school friend, Andy Lubresky. Later, he moved to Pittsburgh and worked for OK Grocery for seven years. After experiencing health problems, he moved back to Meadville. In recent years, he provided a home for his Mother and was part of her caregiving team.
In his younger years, he was quite social and loved music. In fact, he knew the lyrics of every song of interest in his teenage years. He was a happy soul. He recently took up the sport of Pickleball and played regularly.
Steve is survived by his mother, Martha of Meadville; a sister, Pamela Weber of Meadville; a sister, Barb Iellimo (Craig) of Allison Park, PA; a nephew, Nick Ogello (Kate) and a niece, Lyndsey Iellimo, who called him “Uncle Foof.” He was also a Great Uncle to Carter, Kendall, Reese and Jayce.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and a brother, Michael.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
