Steven Mcwilliams

Steven James McWilliams, age 58, left the pain and suffering of his earthly body to return to his heavenly father on September 23, 2019 at the home of his caregiver, Douglas McWilliams and his companion.

Steve was born on November 6, 1960 at Meadville City Hospital, the second son of William H. and Susan Hickernell McWilliams.  He attended Meadville schools with the class of 1979.

He was an avid hunter.  He enjoyed going to flea markets and collecting HO railroad cars.

He is survived by a daughter, Summer Callia (Ezequal) of Damascus, MD; his mother and step father, Lee and Susan Stanford; brother John (Beth) of Baton Rouge, LA and his daughter, Jessica Bair and her family of Zelienople, PA  and his son, Brandon McWilliams of Meadville; brother, Douglas of Stoneboro, PA; brother, Darrell of Meadville and his daughter, Kylie of Tucson, AZ; an adopted sister, Abigail Stanford of Hershey and Meadville; Aunt Kay Earle of Albany, OR; Uncles, James(Harmony) Hickernell of Meadville, Gary (Barbara) Hickernell of Ossining, NY and Donald (Cindy) Hickernell of Spartansburg and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce McWilliams; his father, William McWilliams; maternal grandparents, James and Kathryn Hickernell and paternal grandparents, James and Ida McWilliams.

At the convenience of the family, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
