Tammy Barr

January 19, 1971 — February 1, 2024

Tammy S. Barr, age 53, of Conneautville, PA passed away peacefully at home with family and friends by her side on Thursday February 1, 2024. She was born on January 19, 1971 in Carson City, NV to the late Robert and Nancy (Titus) Schandelmeier.  She married James Barr.  He survives.

Tammy was a 1989 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School.  She earned a degree in accounting at Slippery Rock University.  She worked in management at WalMart and then she worked retail at Tractor Supply as District Manager until retirement.

Tammy was involved with the horse department at the Crawford County Fair.  She was a member of the American Quarter Horse and American Paint Horse Associations.  She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, especially through the west.  She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and caring for her many pets.  She adored her nephew, Kyle.

In addition to her husband of 31 years, James, she is survived by her daughter, Leslie Barr of Harrisburg, PA; 3 grandchildren; her sister, Kelly Alter of Cochranton, PA and her nephew, Kyle Czubek and her closest friends, Sarah Peterson, Heather Tatalovic and Debbie Monnie.

In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her aunt, Carolyn Campbell.

As per her wishes, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Donate Life Pennsylvania at Organ Donation Program/Casey Trust Fund, Health and Welfare Building, ROOM 1000, 625 Forster St., Harrisburg, PA  17120-0701.
